Hot rolled sheet non-pickled non-temper rolled product is supplied as a coil directly off the Hot Strip Mill with no additional processing. This product is normally intended for sheet applications where critical surface, edges or flatness are not normally required. However, large volumes of material 0.186" gauge and heavier is furnished to customers equipped with cut-to-length lines who convert this product into plate.

Today, this product is normally referred to as hot-rolled unprocessed because it is supplied as a coil directly off the hot strip mill without further processing.
